Built from one family's story. Run by a team that treats yours the same way.
RightKind Care™ started with two grandmothers who needed two very different kinds of care. Today, a full team of coordinators and vetted caregivers carries that same standard into every home we serve across the GTA.

Why we built a system, not just a roster of caregivers
RightKind Care exists because of two grandmothers in one family, mine. They needed care in almost opposite ways. One needed someone gentle but firm, who could get her through moments she resisted, without ever forcing her, patient enough to stay calm and persistent until she came along. The other is sharp as ever and runs her own day: she needed someone who took direction precisely and never tried to manage her.
Watching both of those relationships up close taught our family something most people only learn the hard way: a kind, skilled caregiver can still fail without the right support behind them. A coordinator who actually answers the phone. A schedule that's followed, not just written down. A backup plan the moment something changes. A great caregiver isn't enough on their own. It takes a coordinator, a real plan, and backup when something changes, and that's exactly what RightKind Care was built to provide.
That's the standard every family gets today, whether you're arranging care for a parent with dementia, recovering after surgery, or simply need a trusted companion a few afternoons a week. We're based in Toronto and grounded in the communities we serve, Thornhill, North York, and across the GTA, because knowing a neighbourhood is part of knowing how to care for the people in it.
The right kind of care for the person in front of us
My grandmothers needed opposite things from the people who cared for them. Every family is different, and care that ignores that isn't really care, it's a shift filled. That's the real idea behind RightKind Care: not one size fits all, but the right kind of care for the person actually in front of us.

The RightKind Match: how every placement actually happens
Home care goes wrong when it's treated as filling a shift. We follow the same careful process with every family, so nothing is left to luck, but the match itself is never generic. Every plan is built around your family specifically, and we keep listening and adjusting as we learn what's actually working.
1. Listen first
A coordinator learns your family's routines, personality, culture, and faith before we ever talk about caregivers.
2. Match, not just staff
We pair you with a caregiver chosen for fit, temperament, and culture, not just whoever is available that day.
3. Build a real care plan
Every match comes with a written plan the caregiver actually follows, so nothing important depends on memory.
4. Stay involved
Coordinators check in regularly and adjust the plan based on how it's actually going, not just when something breaks. Care doesn't end at placement.
“My two grandmothers needed completely different kinds of care, and that taught me something simple: there's no single right way to care for someone, only the right way for them. Whatever your family is facing, that's what we build, together.”Moshe Birnbaum, Founder

The principles behind every match
Dignity first
Every client is treated as a whole person, not a task list.
No shortcuts on vetting
Background checks, interviews, and references, every time, no exceptions.
Fit matters as much as skill
We match personalities, not just schedules and certifications.
We stay involved
Care doesn't end at placement, coordinators check in throughout.
